Join us at Yorkshire Dama Cheese in Sowerby Bridge for a fun, hands-on cheesemaking experience. You'll get to make your own cheese, learn the secrets behind our award-winning Yorkshire Dama Squeaky Cheese and discover how fresh milk is transformed into delicious cheese.
Our team will guide you through the process, share the story behind our cheese and let you enjoy a tasting of some of our favourites.
Best of all, you'll take a block of the cheese you've made home with you!
A lovely experience for friends, family, cheese lovers or anyone looking for a unique gift or something different to do. Suitable for ages 12 and over, making it a great activity for teenagers and adults alike.

Pay for your Cheesemaking Experience online for just £45 per person. You’ll receive a voucher by email, along with instructions on how to book your date.
Private and group bookings are also welcome. Please contact us at info@yorkshiredamacheese.co.uk to arrange a session for family, friends, corporate groups or educational visits.
Before You Visit
Our factory is a working food-production environment, so all visitors must follow our hygiene and food-safety procedures. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you book your Experience Day.
Cancellation Policy
We operate a 10-day cancellation policy. If you cancel at least 10 days before your experience date, we can transfer your booking to another available date. If you cancel less than 10 days before the course or do not attend, refunds, transfers and replacement sessions are not available.
You are welcome to transfer your place to someone else at any time, provided you give us their details.
If we need to cancel, you can choose another date or receive a full refund of your course fee. We cannot cover travel, accommodation or other expenses.
