Ingredients
- 1 pack Oak Smoked Squeaky Cheese (220g)
- 1 green apple
- 80g mixed salad leaves
- 40g dried cranberries
- 40g pecans
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Black pepper to taste
Method
1. Grill the Oak Smoked Squeaky Cheese
Slice the Oak Smoked Squeaky Cheese into thick pieces. Heat a grill pan over medium heat and grill the cheese for 2–3 minutes per side until golden with light char marks.
2. Prepare the Green Apple
Core the green apple and chop into bite-sized cubes or thin slices.
3. Prepare the Salad Leaves
Wash and dry the salad leaves thoroughly and place them into a large serving bowl or platter.
4. Add the Cranberries & Pecans
Scatter the dried cranberries and pecans over the salad leaves and apples.
5. Add the Grilled Oak Smoked Squeaky Cheese
Arrange the warm grilled smoked squeaky cheese on top of the salad.
6. Drizzle & Serve
Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Finish with freshly cracked black pepper and serve immediately.
